All OWC Jellyfish video editing servers utilize RAID ZFS which adds an extra layer of protection to your data since all data and metadata are stored on your volume.

RAID Z1 (STANDARD)
By default, a OWC Jellyfish Mobile in a RAID Z1 configuration can sustain a single disk failure (out of 8) without data loss.
RAID Z2 (OPTIONAL)

A OWC Jellyfish Mobile in a RAID Z2 configuration will have a reduced overall capacity but can sustain a failure of up to 2 disks (out of 8) without data loss. Recommended for teams that often travel with their OWC Jellyfish Mobile.
