Announcement from LucidLink

Dear LucidLink Customers and Partners,

We’re committed to providing the best creative storage platform for real-time collaboration, and with this in mind, we’re excited to announce an important desktop client update.

Unlike our usual client update, which is optional to the customer, this one is mandatory. The installation process itself however, is exactly the same. We recommend installing this update sooner rather than later, but rest assured, you have until July 15th to do so.

This update pertains solely to the desktop client, and is fully supported with all LucidLink Filespaces. Most importantly, no data migration is needed! And your data remains as secure as ever.

Your team can update at different times with no disruption to your workflow or to your data. After July 15th, older versions will be unable to connect, but don’t worry: your Filespace and customer data will remain intact. Simply update your desktop client to regain access.

To connect after July 15th, you’ll need at least client version 2.3, build 4587, or any version that follows.

Not sure which version you have?

• You can check the LucidLink Control panel

• You can check in the Command Line Interface by typing “lucid version.”
• Or you can select “Check for updates” from the LucidLink Dashboard.

• After updating, you’re good to go!
